Who is eligible to attend Destinations Career Academy of New Mexico (Destinations)?
Any student in grades K–12 who resides in New Mexico is eligible for full-time enrollment.
What is the attendance policy?
As New Mexico public school students, all Destinations students must comply with the state-required minimum number of instructional days. We expect that students will attend Class Connect sessions as required and complete lessons according to due dates. Students and parents/Learning Coaches must check their email and phone messages daily and stay in regular communication with their teachers.
Can our family take a vacation during the school year?
The school calendar includes school holidays or vacation time. Whenever possible, family vacations should align with school vacation days. Parents are encouraged to contact their teacher if they have a vacation that does not coordinate with the school calendar. Family vacations may not be approved during the mandated testing periods in the spring.
